In 2019 he was voted to the Top 10 of list of emerging leaders in Ophthalmology worldwide by the readers of The Ophthalmologist. 

Francesco Carones, MD

CEO of Carones’ Vision in Milan, Italy, where he performs cataract and refractive surgery.
Dr. Carones is a pioneer using excimer laser, mitomycin C after laser surgery, tracker-assisted flying-spot ablation technology and LASEK. He is Associate Editor of the Journal of Refractive Surgery and member of major Editorial Boards, and he currently serves as Board Member of several national and international Ophthalmology Societies, and Advisory Board Member of major ophthalmic companies.

Prof. Burkhard Dick, PHD

Director and Chairman of the University Eye Hospital in Bochum, Germany.
Author of several books and more than 300 peer-reviewed scientific articles on ophthalmology. Member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, International Society of Refractive Surgery, American-European Congress of Ophthalmic Surgery, and many others.

Douglas Koch, MD

Professor and The Allen, Mosbacher, and Law Chair in Ophthalmology at the Cullen Eye Institute, Department of Ophthalmology, Baylor College of Medicine.
He is the Editor Emeritus of the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and Past President of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the American Ophthalmological Society, and the International Intra-Ocular Implant Club. He has authored over 200 articles and book chapters and has given numerous international lectures and received international awards.

Vance Thompson, MD

Founder of Vance Thompson Vision Sioux Falls, SD and the Director of Refractive Surgery, and serves as a Professor of Ophthalmology at the Sanford USD School of Medicine.
He has played a crucial role in the development of the most advanced technologies and techniques for both laser and implant vision correction and served as the medical monitor lead, or principal investigator in over 72 FDA monitored clinical trials studying laser and implant surgery.

Aylin Kiliç, MD

Associate Professor of Ophthalmology, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery Department, Medipol University, Istanbul.
She is an Executive Committee Member of the International Society of Refractive Surgery (ISRS) and a member of Academic Faculty of Universita Della Svizzera Italiana European School for Advanced Studies in Ophthalmology. Dr. Kılıç has delivered more than 200 presentations and lectures and has authored and published numerous articles and has been the recipient of multiple awards.
